Facing the Giants
Rated: PG | 2006A sports and relationship drama about an awakened faith that battles the giants of fear and failure. A favorite moment in the movie is the “death crawl” scene; it is an amazing inspiration.
Fireproof
Rated: PG | 2008Sherwood Pictures has produced some of the most successful Christian movies of all time. These include: “Facing the Giants” (which is our pastor’s favorite), “Flywheel” (which is the favorite of our pastor’s wife), and this story about marriage (which is the favorite of the kids in the pastor’s family).
Flywheel
Not Rated | 2003This is the one that started it all for the successful series of movies made by the Kendrick Brothers. Production value is limited due to a mere $20K budget. However, this is one of the best stories of all the Kendrick movies.
I can Only Imagine
Rated: PG | 2018Based on the story of Bart Millard, it follows the circumstances leading up to him writing the deeply moving and popular song “I Can Only Imagine” as lead singer of the Christian band MercyMe.
Martin Luther, Heretic
Not Rated | 1983Running slightly over an hour, this British-made film focuses on the life of Martin Luther in the circumstances immediately surrounding the early events of the Reformation.
The Radicals
Not Rated | 1989A film dramatizing the story of the early Anabaptist movement illustrates the dangers of sacralism, as even the post-Reformation church has not always behaved as Christ commands.
Unpopular The Movie
