Who is Household of Faith in Christ?
Household of Faith in Christ is not a big megachurch, and we’re not trying to be. We don’t have flashing neon signs along the highway or fog machines in our worship service. We also don’t aim to be what you might think of as a “Traditional Program-Driven Church.” That’s one reason we don’t meet in traditional-looking church buildings. We focus on growing in our relationships with God, and growing with people, far more than we focus on the physical structure within which we meet.
Household of Faith in Christ is a house church, meaning the congregation meets in a person’s home.
Our long-term intent is to grow a network of house churches that meet in private homes. As our congregations outgrow the space inside individual homes, the goal is to continue establishing more house churches. At present, we have five house churches working together in and around Maryland. In God’s perfect timing, a sixth house church will be established, and then a seventh, and an eighth, and so on.
Eventually, we hope to become part of spawning dozens or hundreds of house churches all networking together in prayer, service, and mutual accountability.
